Pinar Ciftci is a multifaceted actress, writer and producer, from Oslo, Norway, with Kurdish heritage.

Fluent in Norwegian, English, Turkish, German, French and Kurdish, she holds a BA in Acting and Artistic Production from Nord University, and has trained acting at the William Esper Studio in New York as well as contemporary choreography and performance at Tanzquartier Wien.

Ciftci has worked in theatre and film across Norway, Chile, Austria and Greece. As an independent journalist, she has written for multiple Norwegian publications. Her work has achieved international recognition – translated into both Arabic, Italian and English – and was nominated for Critique of the Year by the Norwegian Critics' Association.
 

She had her debut as a playwright and lead actress with HULL at Det Norske Teatret in 2023. Currently, she's starring in the short film I WALKED ALONE and developing the play WONDERLAND.
